Lakeshore LifeWorks promotes a better world through mentoring and hands on support for young people who are aging out of the Foster Care system and entering society as an independent adult! Our motto is "One Church, One Child" where we aim to link one small group with one child.
Visit us Sunday morning, November 3 at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville at our Orphan Expo booth. Also, Monday night, October 28th, we'll be at Ridge Point Community Church's Orphan Sunday Expo and Nov 9 at Kentwood Community Church.
Our current project involves an 11 acre transitional housing site and recreation center in Holland Michigan where 18 to 21 year old foster youth will participate in a mentoring, life skills, and a career development program with the goal of being productive members of society and of Christ's church.
We are all in this together. We are a small group of local individuals and church connections who are making a difference by mentoring Lakeshore area foster youth.
